Leading International Telecoms Vendor currently has an opening for a Senior BSS Engineer in their newly established European Operations in Dublin. The role will involve technical installation, commissioning and pre-sales support of radio access equipment onto Base Station System (BSS) Networks with Operators and Manufacturers through-out Europe. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest BSS * BTS + IP technologies through testing and deployment phases. This will combine the autonomy and responsibility of working with a start-up company, with the support of a well established US resource structure. The position will require flexibility to travel. Applicants will need: - At least 5 years current experience in a similar technical position in Mobile Telecoms supporting BSS, BSC, BTS, GSM, GPRS equipment installations (Operator or OEM side) - Expert technical knowledge of either Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel Nortel or Siemens equipment - Strong communication skills (English + ideally another European Language) - Flexibility to travel - Third Level Qualification in Telecoms or EE - Valid EU Work Permit is essential.
